Independent Non-executive Directors
Mr. Wu King Cheong
BBS, JP, was appointed on 17 January 2005, is an Independent Non-executive Director of the Company. He is also the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee, a member of the Audit Committee and the Nomination Committee of the Company. He is the Life Honorary Chairman of The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce and the Permanent Honorary President of both the Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange Society and the Hong Kong Securities Association Limited. Mr. Wu is currently an independent non-executive director of Henderson Land Development Company Limited (“Henderson Land”), Henderson Investment Limited, Miramar Hotel and Investment Company, Limited and Yau Lee Holdings Limited, all of which are listed public companies. Henderson Land has discloseable interests in the Company under the provisions of Part XV of the Securities and Futures Ordinance. Mr. Wu was awarded an Honorary Fellowship by Lingnan University in 2009.
