The Hongkong and Yaumati Ferry Company, Limited (“HYF”) operates ferry service in Hong Kong since 1923. The professional teams have expert knowledge in shipping, deployment, operation, management, finance, pier facility configuration and operations, ferry and pier planning and design, passenger landing barge configuration, vessel maintenance, crew member training and professional consultants services.
At present, HYF owns five vehicular ferries, being the only ferry company in Hong Kong offering “vehicular ferry service” and “dangerous goods vehicular ferry service”. In addition to dangerous goods vehicular ferry service for commutation between Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and Lantau Island, other services offerings include carriage of various type of vehicles or passenger transportation for touring sightseeing, vessel and pier rental, advertisement, professional consultants and on-board catering service.
HYF has been committed to enhancing service quality, proactively optimizing and continuous improving, strives to offer better services for different customers. HKF has been accredited with ISO 9001 on the Management System since 2006, with services achieving the international standard, it is the first local ferry company to obtain ISO certification.

Special sailing on public holidays and specific days: Passengers may drive their vehicle to convey their family and friends, and get on the vehicular ferry to experience a different ferry journey. During the shuttle between both sides of Victoria Harbour, passengers can reminisce about the previous vehicular ferry service and enjoy the beautiful scenery along both sides of Victoria Harbour.
