The Hongkong and Yaumati Ferry Co. Ltd. assisted shooting of TV programme "Hong Kong Stories" by RTHK 

A TV programme “Hong Kong Stories” #9 (Inter-Islands Ferry is still plying as before; but time is passing away like running water) shot by Radio Television of Hong Kong and broadcasted by ATV on 10th May 2009 told the stories of Inter-Islands ferry service by The Hongkong and Yaumati Ferry Co. Ltd. since its commencement in the 1930’s: providing sea link of the three islands of Peng Chau, Cheung Chau, and Lantau Island (Silvermine Bay and Chi Ma Wan) and developing closer ties among their people. The Inter-Islands ferry has been operating shuttle service on every successive day carrying islanders to work, to school, and for the purposes of business, leisure and entertainment, and has witnessed the changes over long period of the past decades.
